In recent years, under the guidance of relevant national policies and the care of leaders at all levels, Yunnan Province has made certain achievements in hydrological informatization. However, there are generally problems such as single objectives, resource fragmentation, repeated construction, and difficulties in sharing, which to a certain extent restrict the healthy, coordinated, and sustainable development of hydrological informatization. To further strengthen the reform work of hydrological measurement methods in Yunnan Province and achieve "resource integration and shared use", solve the bottleneck problem that has been restricting the construction of water informationization in Yunnan Province for a long time, the Yunnan Provincial Cloud Hydrological Bureau and Istrong have carried out the construction of a hydrological information management system for small and medium rivers in Yunnan Province.

Through project construction, it will strengthen resource integration, promote information sharing, ensure benign operation; strengthen hydrological social functions, strengthen service capacity building, and meet social needs.
