Exciting Continuation | ISTRONG Presents Digital Twin Feiyun River Project at the 13th Flood Control and Drought Relief Informatization Forum
From March 29th to 31st, the 13th Flood Control and Drought Relief Informatization Forum was held in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. More than 200 participants attended the forum, including representatives from the Chinese Hydraulic Engineering Society Disaster Reduction Committee, various river basin organizations, provincial (autonomous region, municipality) water and drought disaster defense/flood control and drought relief centers, hydrology and water resources bureaus, information centers, and other flood control and drought relief work support units, as well as representatives from colleges, universities, and research institutes.ISTRONG was invited to give a keynote report at the conference and showcase typical cases of digital twin water conservancy projects.
The forum, themed "Digital Twin Watershed, Smart 'Four Forecasts', Innovative Development of High-Quality Informatization for Flood Control and Drought Relief," was hosted by the "China Flood Control and Drought Relief" magazine, the Chinese Hydraulic Engineering Society Disaster Reduction Committee, and the Ministry of Water Resources Flood Control and Drought Relief Disaster Reduction Engineering Technology Research Center (Water and Drought Disaster Defense Center). The forum focused on the development of informatization theory and technology in China and discussed the practical experience and hot issues in flood control, drought relief, and disaster reduction informatization, aiming to further improve the informatization level and comprehensive capabilities of flood control and drought relief work in China and implement informatization construction goals such as smart water conservancy, digital twin watershed, and smart emergency response.
Keynote Report
At the conference, Feng Min, a senior engineer in the Solutions Department of ISTRONG, delivered a keynote report on "Digital Twin Feiyun River Construction Precedence Pilot Practice and Reflection." He started with the current requirements of water conservancy policies, closely followed the topographical and geomorphological characteristics of the Feiyun River Basin, and introduced the content and construction results of the Digital Twin Feiyun River project in terms of infrastructure, twin platform, business application, and support system. He also discussed the future construction of digital twin watersheds.
Product Display
ISTRONG engaged in in-depth exchanges with many attendees, discussing cutting-edge concepts and technical points in digital twin water conservancy construction. The company showcased outstanding products in the field of water conservancy informatization, including:
Digital Twin Feiyun River Construction Precedence Pilot Platform: Focusing on four major demands - "one-click risk warning, integrated control measures, flood risk prevention, and flood risk response," the platform advances the modernization of flood disaster defense systems and governance capabilities.
Digital Twin Jiulong River North Creek Construction Precedence Pilot Platform: This platform integrates functions such as flood control four forecasts, water resource four forecasts, engineering management, and full-situation perception.
Fuzhou Smart Water Conservancy (Phase I): Building a smart water conservancy support system with "two centers, one map, and N applications," this project aims to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of water conservancy activities and modernize water management and administration.
Remote telemetry terminal series products: These devices enable simultaneous access to multiple elements, such as rainfall, water level, flow, evaporation, and video, and display current monitoring data and equipment operation status through on-site screens, greatly improving hydrological supervision efficiency.

In the future, ISTRONG will continue to focus on the construction of water conservancy informatization, leveraging its experience in provincial, municipal, and county (district) "twin" + "four forecasts" construction. The company will actively explore new paths for the integration of digital twin technology and water conservancy business, enhance its capabilities in digital twin water conservancy construction, and promote the modernization of water conservancy!
