On December 19th, the 2023 Smart Water Conservancy and Water Services Digital Twin Academic Seminar was successfully held in Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province. Themed "Advancing Digital Twin Water Conservancy Construction to Enhance Water Security," the seminar was co-hosted by the Xuzhou Water Conservancy Society and the Hydrology Bureau (Information Center) of the Yi-Shu-Si Water Conservancy Management Bureau. As a member of the Xuzhou Water Conservancy Society, Istrong Technology co-organized the conference and showcased its information technology solutions and practical cases in the field of water conservancy, also delivering a technical report.

In the reporting session, Istrong Technology presented on the topic of "Digital Technology Empowering Urban Resilience in Flood Control." Around the "14th Five-Year Plan for Urban Drainage and Flood Control System Construction Action Plan," the presentation proposed the use of information technology to enhance urban disaster prediction, resistance, and post-disaster recovery capabilities, following the "pre-rain prevention, mid-rain treatment, post-rain optimization" implementation path. Combining practical cases from the digital twin urban flood control command platform of Tongshan District in Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province, the digital twin Jiulong River Beixi construction pilot platform, and smart water conservancy in Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, the presentation discussed with attendees how to strengthen urban drainage and flood control systems. Aiming to achieve "no waterlogging for light rains, no flooding for heavy rains, operational during storms, and disaster injury control," it contributed to accelerating the advancement of water conservancy informatization and explored the application pathways and excellent practices of frontier technologies in digital twin water conservancy construction.

The seminar brought together many cutting-edge technologies and innovative practices in smart water conservancy and digital twins, providing new ideas and methods for future digital twin water conservancy construction. Istrong Technology will use this opportunity to actively participate in industry exchanges and sharing, contributing to the informational and systematic development of the disaster prevention and reduction initiative.
