From August 16th to 20th, the 7th China-South Asia Expo and the 27th China Kunming Import and Export Commodity Fair (hereinafter referred to as the "7th South Expo") were held in Kunming. The expo, co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the People's Government of Yunnan Province, centered on the theme of "Unity and Cooperation for Joint Development". Reportedly, the 7th South Expo featured 15 exhibition halls, covering a total area of 150,000 square meters. It included dedicated pavilions such as the South Asia Pavilion, Southeast Asia Pavilion, Overseas Pavilion, Biomedicine and Cultural Tourism Pavilion, Plateau Characteristic Modern Agriculture Pavilion, and Digital Economy Pavilion. The exhibition content was also concurrently displayed online.

The Digital Economy Pavilion, themed "Digital Intelligence Yunnan: Gathering Momentum for Development," spanned an area of 360 square meters. It showcased achievements in the construction of "Digital Yunnan," featuring five major thematic exhibition areas - Digital Economy, Digital Government, Digital Culture, Digital Society, Digital Ecological Civilization - and a special "Made in Yunnan" section. The pavilion gathered numerous departments and leading enterprises from the province, demonstrating the efforts and achievements in vigorously promoting the construction of "Digital Yunnan" and accelerating integration into the "Digital Silk Road." From digital agriculture to smart logistics, and from digital services for the public to smart town construction, the pavilion showcased over 20 digital application projects with unique features. The Digital Erhai Lake Supervision Service Platform, from the Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture Erhai Lake Administration, was a highlighted project at the exhibition. Together with projects like the Yunnan Province Energy Consumption Online Monitoring Platform, it formed a remarkable "digital ecological governance" showcase.

1、Integrated Construction of a Comprehensive Intelligent Sensory Network:

This network covers the entire Erhai Lake basin, integrating "sky and land" elements. It collects real-time data on water quality, rainfall, cloud coverage, meteorology, video surveillance, operation of pollution control facilities, and satellite remote sensing. When anomalies in water quality data are detected, the digital radar system can instantly scan, identify the issue, and provide automatic alerts.

2、Establishment of the Erhai Lake Cloud Data Center:

This center stores, manages, and shares incoming data. Currently, the total volume of data has reached 3 billion entries. The Erhai Lake Cloud Data Center is fully integrated into the "Cang-Er Cloud" developed by Dali Prefecture, achieving comprehensive data cloudification.

3、Creation of a Water Environment Big Data and Mechanism Model System:

Based on this system, data analysis and applications are conducted. The platform can forecast the water quality and the development trend of blue-green algae in Erhai Lake for the next seven days, using meteorological, water volume, and load data. This enables timely early warning responses.

4、Development of a Collaborative Management and Early Warning Center:

This center dispatches identified issues and events for coordinated handling among state, county, town, and departmental levels, forming a closed-loop management system.

In recent years, guided by Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thought, Yunnan has accelerated the construction of a smart environmental protection system.
