Rainfall Alarm
The rainfall alarm is a rainfall monitoring and alarm device that integrates real-time rainfall monitoring, information display, and multi-time period rainfall sound and light alarm functions. It is suitable for flash flood disaster monitoring and early warning and can be used by ordinary residents in mountain villages. It complies with the national standard GB/T11832-2002 "Tipping Bucket Rain Gauge."
System architecture
The rainwater is collected by the tipping bucket rain gauge's upper rain-catching port, flows through the tipping bucket components, causing them to flip, and emits a pulse each time it flips. The amount of rainfall can be measured based on the number of flips within a certain period. When the rainfall reaches the preset alarm value, the alarm emits a sound and light synchronous alarm.
Main functions
Rainfall collection: Collect rainfall based on the rain catcher and tipping bucket.
Data storage: Process, encode, and store the collected data.
Clock display: Built-in real-time clock, can display time and date.
Data display: LCD display, supports Chinese menu operation, time period rainfall display: one-hour rainfall, three-hour rainfall, daily rainfall, two-day rainfall, three-day rainfall, and custom duration rainfall.
Rainfall alarm: Sound and light alarm function when rainfall exceeds the warning level: three levels of alarm for one-hour, three-hour, and daily rainfall; can set different level rainfall alarm values, alarm duration, rainfall resolution, alarm volume, and other parameters for each time period.
Power management: Equipped with built-in lithium battery power indicator; the alarm can automatically switch to lithium battery power when there is no mains electricity, and has built-in lithium battery charging management function.
Low-power operation: Supports low-power sleep mode, allowing the alarm to run continuously for 30 days after a power outage.
Product Features
Intuitive display with large LCD screen, supporting Chinese menu operation.
Audible and visual alarms with 3 different alarm levels for on-site alerts.
Application Scenarios
The rain gauge alarm system can be easily installed on a wall to monitor and warn about rainfall levels, addressing the issue of automated rainfall monitoring and early warning in hydrology. It is suitable for real-time rainfall monitoring in scenarios such as meteorological stations, hydrological stations, flash flood warnings, and geological monitoring.
